  1. There are several good ones here, some I have read and a good number I have not. I want to read more by du Maurier. We Have Always Lived in the Castle is on my list too.

    1. Really, Tracy, some of these I think I should just hurry up and read, rather than wait for a Classics Club Spin. There is always so much to read, really, when you think of it! Ach, the pressure!! Riches to be sure.

    1. Hi Katrina,
I'll bet you have, for sure! I started Barchester Towers this noontime. I think it will take me a few days to get into the GROOVE with it. But I know you and so many people have liked the Barsetshire series, so I feel a sense of hope!

  4. That's such an excellent list, Judith! I hope you get Emma or Mansfield Park. The House on the Strand is good too, and Barchester Towers... I'll be reading Dr. Thorne from that series myself next year.

    1. Hi Cath,
Well, Barchester Towers it is! I'm glad to hear that you liked it. I'm on p. 65 so far and it's going slowly for me so far. Interesting, though!

  5. Oh wow great list. Some titles off-the-beaten path too. Maugham's are so good ... and Shirley Jackson pretty good too. I look forward to your reads.
