Just wrote an entire entry. Published it. And it disappeared in Google's attempt to explain in greater detail its privacy policy. Well, thanks a lot for messing up my entry, Google. You're tops.
Oh how annoying! So sorry. I had a Blogger blog years ago & this happened to me so often I began to write all my posts in draft first...eventually got fed up of it so switched to Typepad (you had to pay but not much). It was fine until they sold themselves to an Ad company when it plunged downhill. Then I switched to Wordpress (free) which I am happy with 99 per cent of the time. Quite a number of my blogging "circle" have switched to WordPress. Of course the disadvantage of switching is that you have to change your URL and ask everyone to note the new one.
I am a professional genealogist and member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. I specialize in New York and New England ancestries, from the early 1600s through the twentieth century.
