That, too, is extremely well done, and one that you might want to snoop out for next year. I had so much fun reading that one. The heroine spyster (quasi-detective) in that series is quite lovable. And it's pure fun, which is wonderful in December.<br />I do hope your husband is doing well. Best wishes to you both.Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06435116453270981662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543676375857581295.post-915933937855027172018-12-25T14:13:57.016-05:002018-12-25T14:13:57.016-05:00I was just thinking about finding more Christmas b...I was just thinking about finding more Christmas books (for next Christmas) and here is your wonderful list. I will follow up on Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas for sure. I have read the first few from this series, so I am sure I would like it. And also I will keep in mind your recommendation for A New York Christmas by Anne Perry.TracyKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08303342674824383688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543676375857581295.post-10084475511389831862018-12-09T18:33:27.641-05:002018-12-09T18:33:27.641-05:00Hi Jo,

I haven't read any of these, but I will surely try, at least Winter Solstice, because I used to like Rosamunde Pilcher's books, but I haven't read one in a long time. It's too joyful an experience to read this novel just once.Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06435116453270981662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543676375857581295.post-47438959815020103012018-12-09T08:37:00.672-05:002018-12-09T08:37:00.672-05:00Hi sprite,

A few more will be in the offering for December 14th.Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06435116453270981662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543676375857581295.post-78537571794856614532018-12-07T14:32:14.137-05:002018-12-07T14:32:14.137-05:00Great post! Your other Christmas books look good as well. I'll keep my eye out!raidergirl3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03629915042716259349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543676375857581295.post-65781104592163936032018-12-07T09:16:39.923-05:002018-12-07T09:16:39.923-05:00I just bought Christmas in London for $2.99 (why, ...I just bought Christmas in London for $2.99 (why, oh why, can't people sell at $3 instead?!). Thank you for the recommendation! I see she has other Christmas books. I'm with you. I hate "edgy" and a book can't be too cozy for me this time of year! I have read Winter Solstice, and I love so much of it, but that beginning kills me so much that I can't get past it. If only that episode wasn't part of the book. The utter sadness of it, the worst thing that can happen. It just stops me from enjoying the rest. I remember whole descriptions of the later parts. Maybe I should pick it up again, and just skip that part! I listened to and enjoyed the Barron novel last year during the holidays and will now have to check out the others. spritehttp://spritewrites.netnoreply@blogger.com
